THE BEST HOSPITAL HANDS DOWN!!!!! The Emergency Room is the Best Kelly the nurse Doctor Casey Collins , and the tech Amanda they was amazing and worked promptly to care for me and I had my 9yr old son with me they made sure he was good too .... I’m in love with this hospital I wish I knew about this hospital a long time ago.
I was treated so well! The staff, nurses and physcians show real concern! And the emergency room experience was amazing! I was taken to a room within 3 minutes and the physician came in immediately! All tests were done right away! Really have to say best hospital experience I have ever had.
This 5 star rating is only for Nurse G, the hospital needs work. You guys really lucked up by having her work at your facility. She was so nice to my mom and she paid for my lunch. She talks to her patients like she really care. She’s so helpful! I wish corporate sees this and give her something for her hard work! The department is Ambo Bay. Nurse G your awesome ! The little things go a long way!
I have been to this hospital several times and have had nothing but great experiences. All the staff were kind and willing to answer any questions that I had, and I was taken back for triage and for tests in a timely manner. I had a visit last year after a car accident, and the ER doctor even called me a couple of days later to check up on how I was feeling.
My mom was admitted to the C.C.U. and then moved to Palliative Care. I could not be more impressed with the level of care and compassion shown my mother and my family. I thank you so very much. God bless you all.
Very good local hospital offers most of Hospital needs. If not they will always send you to another hospital. Very happy techs and nurse always have Smiles on their face. They do imaging CT scans with and without dye, they also do X-rays and lots more. Very busy Hospital though but only one that serves a very large area. I have no complaints only good experiences. In the nurses and doctors will actually listen to you
This review is for the family borthplace specifically. The good: The facilities are excellent. It's very clean, and undergoing renovations currently. The rooms are large, and have everything you need for a couple days as far as couches and lounge chairs. The majority of the staff is very attentive and professional. Few cons: Be direct with the staff. Some of them will ask you to wait for an epidural even if you're progressing quickly. if they tell you to wait without checking dilation, ask for the exam. You know your body, and your threshold for pain. Don't settle for a dismissive "that's normal" if they haven't checked you. Overall the experience was great.
Carroll Hospital is a wonderful hospital. My dad has been sick for a very long time. I appreciate the fact that they didn't release him until he was well. I appreciate the efforts and care of Carroll Hospital. Thank you
I can't say enough good things about the experience we had at the birthing center at Carroll Hospital. Everyone from the doctors, to the nurses, to hospitality was wonderful for our whole stay. We had so many nurses help us out. If I could remember all of them, I would give a special thanks. But we had so many folks in and out of the room that we couldn't keep it straight. They were wonderful with my girlfriend and our son, from taking their vitals to helping my girlfriend in and out of the bathroom and giving our baby baths. Dr. Kirsch and Dr. Wilson are nothing but top notch. They were so helpful with my girlfriend's labor and gave her and our newborn nothing but the best care we could ever ask for. I hope everyone who has a child at Carroll is as fortunate as we were to have such a great experience!
Wonderful experience with my 16 year old son who was brought to ER with chest pain. ER doctor and staff respond quickly and got us transferred to university of MD fast. The peds cardiologist at University told us that if Carroll Hospital staff did not respond like they did we would of had a grave outcome! Very thankful!
Shout out to P.A Smith in the ER this evening. We were in and out in mo time and he stitched my sons busted cheek up. His bedside manner with a 16 year old man-child was great!
This review is for the emergency department only. My wife and I have been twice in the last year, and both times we were seen quickly and attended to by competent and compassionate nurses and doctors. I was impressed and very happy with the care provided.
I had an amazing experience. Nurses were awesome Danielle, Tiffany ,Melissa and Lydia were the best. I love the family birth center.
Amazing nurses. Every single one that was involved during out ER stint was so incredibly nice and caring
This is a small hospital, with a small town feel. You will deal with a PA. Typical. For what it is? 4 stars. They were good, they positively ID'd my insect bite and prescribed the proper antibiotics promptly. Very clean, you could smell the air was properly filtered and etc. PA Kevin Walsh saved my leg, possibly my life and worked with my existing health issues. I give them 4 stars, Kevin is a very talented and sharp PA!
I came in for severe dehydration and the nurses and doctors there were so wonderful. I was so dehydrated to where they could not find a vain and even though I had to be poked with a needle 11 times to find a vain they never gave up!!! Thank you to all the nurses and doctors who took good care of me. Everyone was so welcoming and caring. My nurse and tech was amazing. They always made sure I was ok and they kept giving me warm blankets because I was cold. Thank you so much to the nurses and techs and doctors!! My experience was very good. Nurses: Amy, Julie, John Doctor: Dr. Collins Tech: Christine Flannagan
8/19/17 10:30AM - 3PM Shift Unfortunately had to go to the ER, via ambulance. From the fire department EMTs to each Carroll Hospital staff member with whom I interacted - all were professional, attentive and compassionate. I wish I could remember all their names, because each deserves recognition. To: EMTs - Ryan & Sean Hospital ER Staff - Anise, Megan, Dr. Sawan, Felicia, Vince, Aaron, and ALL Thank You!!!
I was recently treated at Carroll Hospital for an outpatient surgery. The entire staff, from admission to pre-op, surgery and post-op, was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and most definitely courteous & supportive. I wish I could remember each of their names to thank them individually. I would most definitely recommend Carroll Hospital Center for their exceptional services.
The call center immediately gave me the information I wanted and sent me to the appropriate unit to speak to my mother who was being treated
Went in from a shoulder injury, no xray's done. Just put a sling on me and sent me out the door.
With the healthcare system struggling and this being the only hospital in Carroll county, it has shown improvements. regardless of any personal impacts, patients can receive emergency care and referral to a higher level hospital in a timely manner if required.
Recently had Total Hip Replacement at CHC. Excellent care from the minute I arrived till discharge. Never had to ask for anything, as all my needs were anticipated and met with kindness and skill.
I took my daughter there, and I can honestly say this is a wonderful hospital!!!! They Were attentive, kind, and worked very fast! Even Called me a couple days later to check on my little one! Never had that happen before, it was a very kind gesture :-)a big thank you too the nurses doctors and everyone else
I went to the ER following the record-breaking snow storm of 2016 having injured my back. The receptionist was calm and pleasant. I only waited for 5 minutes before being taken to an exam room and the nurses and the doctor were very professional, helpful and sensitive.
